We are only a few weeks from closing on our house in St. Louis . . . which means that soon I can start decorating our baby's room! We have decided that an African Safari theme would be fun and would also be gender-neutral since we don't know if we will have a boy or girl. It is also a theme that works for any age since we could get an infant or a toddler.
So far, we have a crib that will convert to a toddler bed and have picked up a few "safari" theme items. This giraffe seat/coatrack is my favorite! I put it together last week.
If anyone has good ideas for our African Safari room, then send them my way!
Lana and I are soooo excited for you! What about a rotating children's lamp with animals on it? Have you seen those? They project the animal figures on the wall of the room. If you're interested Lana should be able to find one for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us up-to-date guys. We're praying for you!
Dana! I am so glad you contacted me. I would love to meet and chat. My hubby, Jon, and I work with the Middle School kids 1st service and then attend the 2nd. We are always down on the end of the church where the student ministries meet (by the office) between services. lizgrayce@gmail.com is my email. Shoot me one with your contact info if you want. We would love to have you all over for dinner sometime soon too. Be in touch!
