We received news this morning that our case has been submitted to the Ethiopian courts. The courts will get back to our agency within the next several weeks with a court date, which will likely be in the next 6-8 weeks. This means will be in Ethiopia meeting our son in the next couple months!!!
WOW! Talk about hitting the fast forward button on things - we were thinking it would be another 6-8 weeks before we found out we were submitted to court. Praise God for this progress.
On another note, we are starting to receive PJs and socks!! Thanks to everyone for your support and I will update soon on where we are at with the numbers.
Hold on! We were expecting 6-8 weeks for a court date, but our actual court date was just exactly a month from when we were submitted. You might want to be prepared for earlier. :) We were submitted to court on December 22 and heard about our January 24 court date on January 4. Yikes!
