Update!!

Today was a day full of wonderful news!! We received an email this morning from our social worker stating that our case has been submitted to the Ethiopian courts. This means that we should know when our court date will be within the next month. Praise God.

But that wasn't the end of our blessings for the day, because an hour later we received an email with an absolutely wonderful update on our son!! And the best part was that we were sent 15 more pictures with lots of smiles. In addition we were given an update on his gross motor and fine motor skills as well as language and social development. He seems to be doing great. They said that he walks backwards, attempts to run, drinks from a cup without spilling, scribbles with a crayon, and knows his name. He was described as "very calm and playful" and "charming" and they said that "he enjoys being with someone and to be hugged."

Well, little man, you have lots of hugs waiting for you at home. We can't wait to hold you in our arms!
