Many people are wondering what is next. Well, unfortunately, it is just more of the same. . .waiting. You might think I am getting used to this waiting game by now, but it is honestly just getting harder by the day. I wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night with Joseph on my mind. Knowing he is half a world away breaks my heart.
So what are we waiting for? First the team in Ethiopia is working on securing a birth certificate with Joseph's new last name on it. After getting the birth certificate they will work on securing his passport. Finally, after both of these are obtained our agency will apply for an embassy date. We were told that this could take anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
In the meantime we are trying to use the wait to allow God to increase our faith and deepen our trust. No one uses timing better than the One who created time.
