On Our Way!

Well - we have successfully made it through the 1st leg of our trip and we now sit at Dulles International Airport in DC. We have a 5 and a half hour layover here and then we will be boarding Ethiopian Airlines for the 14 hour flight to Addis Abbaba, Ethiopia. The flight is direct except for the pit stop in Rome to refuel - unfortunately though we won't be able to leave the aircraft at that stop. We are surrounded by Ethiopians here in our terminal and it is making us so excited!! In about 24 hours we will be holding our son for the first time. . .

We are hoping to be able to blog while in country but we will have to see what the internet connection is and what our schedule is like. Thanks again for all of your prayers.
