We're going back!

That's right - we are going back!  It's hard to believe that this long anticipated trip is finally here.  We thought it was appropriate to resurrect the blog for a week so our friends and family could follow along on our journey.  So here we are!

We left St. Louis early this morning (with 12 suitcases!) for Newark where we have a layover and then on to Germany for the second leg.  When looking for the cheapest flights for 7 people we found one with a 12 hour layover in Frankfurt, Germany.  While this makes for a really long few travel days, we are excited that we will be able to leave the airport and visit the Frankfurt Christmas markets for a few hours.  And then on to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from there.

So why are we going back and what are we doing there?  Well there were many, many people in Ethiopia that loved our boys before we came into their lives.  So we will be visiting those friends and family and soaking in the Ethiopian culture!  The boys have friends from their orphanages that were not adopted that we will be able to visit and several of the boys also have some family members that we will get to see.  And, then of course, this is chance for them to soak in more of the Ethiopian culture that we all have grown to love.  

We'll plan to update the blog throughout the week, as long as we have good internet, so come along for our journey!  (Everything that I post will be with the boys' permission first.)
